Recommended Practices for Mobile Acetylene Trailer Systems

This publication presents safe practices recommended for the design, construction, and operation of mobile acetylene trailer systems (MATS) containing acetylene cylinders manifolded for the purposes of charging, transporting, and discharging large quantities of acetylene. It also covers ground-mounted auxiliary equipment used in conjunction with the MATS such as piping, regulators, flash arrestors, and meters.
