CGA G-7 deals with various applications where air is used for human respiration. It is intended to be used in conjunction with CGA G-7.1, Commodity Specification for Air. It contains information relative to the preparation, transportation, handling, storage, and use of compressed air and includes general information regarding the characteristics of compressed air. Information includes: -Composition of dry air under normal conditions at sea level -Methods of production of air for human respiration -Containers and valves used for compressed air -Pressure/temperature relationship -Uses of compressed air and required quality verification levels -Precautions Much of the information is equally applicable to compressed air used for other purposes.
