CGA Position Statement on the Suitability of Carbon Steel Containers for Stationary Carbon Dioxide Storage

Covers safety concerns for carbon dioxide containers manufactured before 1976 and constructed of carbon steels that would not meet the current code requirements. It covers prudent engineering practice and guidelines to be followed for carbon dioxide containers manufactured with SA-212 and SA-515 carbon steels.
