Z262.6-14 - Specifications for facially featured headforms

Preface

This is the third edition of CSA Z262.6, Specifications for facially featured headforms. It supersedes the previous editions published in 2009 and 2002.

In this edition an attempt was made to simplify the labeling of the anatomical points by naming them in accordance with anthropometric conventions versus generic lettering. The designations of the headforms were also changed to reflect the circumference of the four headform sizes (e.g., size 605 vs. 90th percentile). Finally, the 90th percentile headform (now size 605) was completely redesigned since it was found to be approximately 2% too large.
