NFPA 2112: Standard on Flame-Resistant Garments for Protection of Industrial Personnel Against Flash Fire, 2001 Edition

Specifies the minimum design, performance, and certification requirements, and test methods for new flash fire protective garments. This standard shall not apply to protective clothing for wildland fire fighting, technical rescue, structural fire fighting, proximity fire fighting or any other speciality fire fighting operations, or hazardous chemical emergencies. This standard shall not apply to protection from electrical flashes, radiological agents, biological agents, or hazardous chemicals.
