Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (BPVC) – 2010 Edition
NOW AVAILABLE!
The International Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (BPVC) establish rules of safety governing the design, fabrication, and inspection of boiler and pressure vessels, and nuclear power plant components during constructions.
The objective of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (BPVC) is to provide a margin for deterioration in service. Advancements in design and material and the evidence of experience are constantly being added by Addenda.
Numerous options for subscribing to ASME codes and standards are available from ANSI. Networking Site Licenses for the BPVC will help assure compliance with ASME copyright requirements while giving engineers and other technical professionals access to critical information when and where they need it.
The Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (BPVC) from ASME are divided into the following 14 sections:
| Section I | Power Boilers |
| Section II | Material Specifications |
| Section IID | Material Specifications Part D |
| Section IID | Materials Specifications Part D, Metric |
| Section III | Rules for Construction of Nuclear Power Plant Components |
| Section IV | Heating Boilers |
| Section V | Nondestructive Examination |
