Provides procedures for determining the heating seasonal efficiency of central furnaces and boilers. This standard includes: test methods for cyclic and part-load performance; methods for interpolating and extrapolating test data; and calculation procedures for establishing seasonal performance. It applies to central furnaces and boilers with gas, oil, or electric input, or any combination thereof, that have an output of less than 100 KW (340,000 Btuh) and are used in residential applications.
