Certification of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professionals
This Standard establishes certification requirements for a Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional (GDTP). Certification will be based upon the current edition of the Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard and as it relates to documents referenced therein. It is also based upon a knowledge of changes from the previous editions. This new Standard includes the outline of the Body of knowledge on which an applicant for certification will be examined. Certification will be available at two levels: 1) TECHNOLOGIST: Emphasizes an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing 2) SENIORS: Emphasizes the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
