Fire behaviour of building materials and elements - Classification of building materials - Requirements and testing

The document, which was published at the same time as DIN 4102-16, was necessary for the following reasons, amongst others: to extend the scope of the document to include products not covered by the term "construction product"; to create a self-contained body of standards, especially also for those products for which harmonized standards will not be prepared in the foreseeable future; to adapt the standard to the current state of the art and current legal regulations. The amendments made to the 1981-05 of the standard are as follows: The scope of the classes DIN 4102-A2 and -B1 have been extended.
