Conveyor belts for general purpose use - Electrical and flammability safety requirements; English version of DIN EN 12882 (Foreign Standard)

This European Standard specifies electrical and flammability safety requirements for conveyor belts and a means of categorizing conveyor belts in terms of the level of safety sought in their end-use application. This European Standard does not provide safety requirements for volume resistance, which is relevant to some types of conveyor belts. Because of the complexity of the problem it will be the subject of a separate European Standard.
