NFPA 1194: Standard for Recreational Vehicle Parks and Campgrounds, 2008 Edition

NFPA 1194 provides fire protection and life safety in recreational facilities in parks and campgrounds nationwide!
Ensure the safety and health of vacationers and park staff with NFPA 1194: Recreational Vehicle Parks and Campgrounds, the comprehensive document that replaced ANSI A119.4 as a single Standard containing safety-related design and construction features for recreational vehicle parks and campgrounds.
Provisions address facilities offering temporary living sites for use by recreational vehicles, recreational park trailers, and other camping units with minimum construction requirements for adequate:
Environmental health and sanitation
Safety of electrical distribution systems
Safety of LP-Gas storage and dispensing
Fire protection
Technical changes to the 2008 edition include:
New requirements for dead-end roads in excess of 100 feet in length, plus associated annex material to depict dead-end road situations and facilitate compliance
New rules addressing propane containers
