This standard applies to the safety of the devices listed below, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250 V for single-phase devices, 480 V for other devices and 24 V for battery-operated DC devices. - Household and similar refrigerators / freezers; - Ice makers with built-in motor compressors and ice makers intended for installation in freezer compartments; - Refrigerators / freezers and ice makers for camping, motorhomes and for recreational boats. These devices can be mains or battery operated or both mains and battery operated. This standard also applies to the safety of ice cream makers for domestic use, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250 V for single-phase devices and 480 V for other devices.
