People on the Move highlights the career advancements of high-level trailblazers working professionally in diverse areas of standardization, contributing every day to the strength and success of the U.S. standards and conformance community.

NSF International, a member and audited designator of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced that Jen Morecraft has been promoted to global managing director of NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR), a global certification body and subsidiary of NSF International. In this role, Ms. Morecraft will oversee strategy development, innovation, and implementation of NSF-ISR to grow their services and align them with the mission, strategies, goals, and values of NSF International.

Prior to this role, Ms. Morecraft was the director of NSF International's supplier assurance programs. She has overseen global audit programs and worked with food industry leaders in audit and data management for the last 13 years, helping them to meet food safety and quality objectives. She was also responsible for strategy and growth of NSF's proprietary audit programs, as well as new certification program development and client-specific second- and third-party audit programs.

"Jen's experiences within retail, supply chain, and data management give her a broad understanding of industry and certification program management. Her many years supporting public health and safety include expanding challenges and responsibilities at NSF International. We look forward to her leadership of NSF-ISR - particularly her ability to focus on the customer, collaborate effectively, and innovate to drive growth," said Tom Chestnut, senior vice president of NSF International's Global Food Division and of NSF-ISR.

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has appointed Patrick Lozada as director of global policy. In this role, Mr. Lozada will lead the organization's international policy work. He will also represent TIA on the Executive Committee of the United States Information Technology Office (USITO), based in Beijing.

Previously, Mr. Lozada was with commercial diplomacy firm Albright Stonebridge Group, where he advised the firm's ICT clients. Prior to that, he spent seven years in China as a consultant and manager of business advisory services in the U.S.-China Business Council's Shanghai office. He holds a master's from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a certificate in Chinese studies from the Hopkins Nanjing Center at Nanjing University, and a bachelor's degree from Haverford College.

"Supply chain security, infrastructure, and trade are just a few of the global issues that are critical to our efforts to accelerate 5G and continue to usher in the technologies of the future," said TIA CEO Wes Johnston. "We are proud to welcome Patrick Lozada as TIA's Director of Global Policy and believe his deep expertise in international business and policy will be invaluable to our work to partner with industries across the globe and to ensure a policy environment that fosters innovation."
