On May 13, 2019, in Washington, DC, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will convene a meeting of interested stakeholders including manufacturers, retailers, government agencies, trade and professional associations, consumer organizations, and others to continue dialogue on opportunities to work together to advance safety, quality, and trust in the dietary supplements supply chain, particularly through voluntary consensus standards and related conformity assessment programs.
The meeting is a follow-up to the ANSI and Global Retailer and Manufacturer Alliance event held on December 6, 2018, where participants agreed to reconvene for continued dialogue in 4 to 6 months (see related article).
Stakeholders interested in getting involved in the May 13 event should contact Kelley Cox, ANSI director of membership, at [email protected].
