The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites interested stakeholders to a virtual workshop, "Data Standardization as Building Blocks for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare," to be held during a two-part session, on November 30, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET and December 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.
The event will launch work to create a roadmap to coordinate and accelerate standardization enabling AI in healthcare.

ANSI's AI Efforts Builds on 2020 Workshop
ANSI's latest efforts builds upon the Institute's to support AI efforts and progress in AI standardization. Its 2021 report, "Standardization Empowering AI-Enabled Systems in Healthcare," reflects feedback from a 2020 ANSI leadership survey and national workshop, and identifies opportunities for standardization to support data, trust, transparency, governance frameworks, and risk management in this rapidly-growing area.
