This technical report details the basic transmission parameters of security industry communication protocols. This technical report does not detail specific manufacturer data definitions associated with each protocol. This technical report is for use by receiver manufacturers and central station automation systems in receiving and decoding signals from on-premises security systems. This technical report is for reference by central station personnel and others. This technical report was developed to document the general transmission parameters of various proprietary communications protocols used in the security industry.
