ANSI/ASHRAE 72-1998

Method of Testing Open Refrigerators

Prescribes a uniform method of testing for rating of open refrigerators for food stores so that comparative evaluations can be made of energy consumption, product temperature performance, refrigeration load, the suction pressures required, and other performance factors. Please note that ANSI/ASHRAE 72-1983 was listed in the November 7, 1997 issue of Standards Action as a revision. That standard was administratively withdrawn and BSR/ASHRAE 72 is now being submitted as a new standard.
