ANSI E1.3 - 2001 (R2011)

Entertainment Technology - Lighting Control Systems - 0 to 10V Analog Control Specification

ANSI E1.3, Entertainment Technology - Lighting Control Systems - 0 to 10V Analog Control Specification, describes a method of controlling equipment by means of an analog control voltage in the nominal range from zero to 10 volts positive, with the controller sourcing the signal current. It is primarily intended for lighting control equipment (controllers and dimmers), but anything that might be controlled by a lighting controller (automated luminaires, strobe lights, fog machines, et cetera) could use this control method, and many do. This edition is a reaffirmation of the previous edition. It contains no substantive changes.
