Recommended Practice for Installing and Maintaining Panelboards (ANSI)

Describes the installation procedures for panelboards rated 600 volts AC or less, with main disconnects or lugs rated 1600 amperes or less and with feeder or branch circuit overcurrent devices rated 1200 amperes or less. It also covers periodic routine maintenance and troubleshooting procedures to be used after adverse operating conditions such as a short-circuit, ground-fault, or immersion in water. NECA 407 is approved as an American National Standard (ANS).
