This International Standard applies to the safety of household battery chargers and similar purposes which supply safety extra-low voltage and whose rated voltage does not exceed 250V. Not for normal household use certain battery chargers, but still can be a source of danger to the general public, such. B. Appliances intended for use in garages, shops, commercial premises and agriculture fall within the scope of this standard.
