SAE AMS 3305J-2014 (SAE AMS3305J-2014)

Silicone Rubber, General Purpose, 80 Durometer

This specification covers a silicone rubber in the form of sheet, strip, tubing, extrusions, and molded shapes. Primarily for parts required to operate or seal from -65 to +205 degrees C (-85 to +401 degrees F). Silicone elastomer is resistant to deterioration by weathering and petroleum-base lubricating oil and remains flexible over the temperature range noted. These products are not normally suitable for use in contact with gasoline or aromtic fuels and low-aniline-point petroleum-base fluids due to excessive swelling of the elastomer.
