Stainless steel needle tubing for manufacture of medical devices (TEXT OF DOCUMENT IS IN CHINESE)

This standard specifies the dimensions, surface and mechanical properties of normal- and thin-walled tubing of designated metric sizes 3.4 mm to 0.3 mm, and of extra-thin-walled tubing of designated metric sizes 2.1 mm to 0.6 mm.

This standard applies to tubing for infusing needle used for skin and flesh, hypodermic, and muscle of human bodies and stainless steel rigid-straight needle tubing used for other medical devices (hereinafter referred to as tubing).

This does not apply to stainless steel supple/flexural needle tubing because their mechanical properties are different from those of stainless steel rigid-straight needle tubing specified in the standard, but the parties of manufacturing and purchasing supple needle tubing are encouraged to use the sizes specified in this standard.
