DIN EN ISO 11064-5 deals primarily with the display and input of data to monitor and/or operate processes from control centres. It establishes requirements that shall and recommendations that should be matched by displays and controls. Furthermore it gives understanding and to ease access, the design procedure was applied for structuring the text. The application of this part of DIN EN ISO 11064-5 standard should be to the benefit of operators, operating companies, equipment buyers, interface designers, manufacturers, and engineering firms.
