Influence of materials on water intended for human consumption - Influence due to migration - Part 4: Test method for water treatment membranes
This document describes a test method for determining possible unfavorable effects of membrane elements and modules for water treatment on drinking water quality. Basically, this document is to be applied to modules for microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and electrodialysis, whose field of application is water treatment in public waterworks and in drinking water installations. An evaluation of the effectiveness of membrane filters for the removal of impurities in the treated water is not carried out.
