Practice for Occupational and Educational Eye and Face Protection

This standard shall apply to those occupational and educational operations or processes where eye and face hazards exist. These include, but are not limited to, machining operations, material welding and cutting, chemical handling, and assembly operations. This standard does not apply to hazards related to X-rays, gamma rays, high energy particulate radiation, microwaves, radio-frequency radiation, lasers and masers, and sports.
