The NNCO is the secretariat to the Nanoscale Science, Engineering, and Technology Subcommittee of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). As such, the NNCO is the point of contact on federal nanotechnology activities for government organizations, academia, industry, foreign organizations, and others to exchange technical and programmatic information.
Prior to his role at NNCO, Dr. Teague was chief of the Manufacturing Metrology Division in the Manufacturing Engineering Lab at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In addition, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Nanotechnology from 1991 to 2001, and continues to serve on the Board of Editors.
"Dr. Teague brings an enormous amount of expertise and valuable leadership to the work of the ANSI-NSP. His role in that exciting initiative as well as his extensive work with the NNCO will make for a timely and compelling discussion,” said David Karmol, ANSI vice president of public policy and government affairs.
The event will begin at 11:30 am with general networking, and lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. The University Club is located at 1135 16th Street, between L and M streets. To RSVP, please contact Jessica Karp ([email protected]) by Tuesday, November 30.
The December sponsor is ASTM International. ANSI Caucus luncheons are held on the first Friday of each month and are free to ANSI members. For more information on caucus luncheons, please contact David Karmol, ANSI vice president, public policy and government affairs ([email protected]; 202-331-3610).
