Machine foundations; flexible structures that support machines with rotating elements (FOREIGN STANDARD)

This standard applies to steel or reinforced concrete constructions which support machinery with predominantly rotating masses and whose machinery support is able to perform bending vibrations in at least one direction. This standard specifies requirements for supporting constructions of this kind to prevent unacceptable vibrations and damages to the machines due to static or dynamic stresses and to avoid undesired vibrations in the surroundings. Moreover, this standard includes regulations and recommendations for the calculation of vibration and design action-effects as well as principles for design, construction and execution.
