Tolerances for automotive paints - Part 1: Uni paints

This standard deals with acceptable tolerances for uni automotive paints, e. g. between a colour sample and its realization that is the biggest acceptable colour-difference between those paints. These tolerances represent those colour-differences, which are accepted by the majority. A distinction is made between tolerances for the taking of delivered paint-products, the different areas of a car after varnishing and the repair varnishing of areas or parts of cars, judged against the original varnish.
