Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics - Quantitative non-porous surface test for the evaluation of bactericidal and yeasticidal and/or fungicidal activity of chemical disinfectants used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas without mechanical action - Test method and requirements without mechanical action (phase 2, step 2)

This document specifies a test procedure (phase 2, level 2) and the minimum requirements for bactericides and levurocides and/or fungicide effects of chemical disinfectants in the areas of food, industry, household and in public institutions that are determined with water standardized hardness or - in Fall of ready -to -use products - with water a homogeneous, physically stable preparation result in; Areas and situations with medically indicated disinfection and products that are used on living tissues are excluded. This document is applicable to products that are used for disinfection on non -porous surfaces without mechanical treatment. This document is at least applicable for: a) Processing, sales and sale of: 1) Food of animal origin: i) milk and milk products; II) meat and meat products; iii) fish, sea animals and produced products; IV) eggs and egg products; v) pet food; VI) etc. 2) Food of plant origin: i) drinks; ii) fruits, vegetables and products made from them (including distilleries and sugar -refineries); iii) flour, ground and baked products; IV) pet food; v) etc. b) commercial institutions and household areas: 1) catering facilities; 2) public areas; 3) public transport; 4) schools; 5) kindergartens; 6) business; 7) sports facilities; 8) waste container (garbage cans); 9) Hotels; 10) residential building; 11) Clinically not relevant areas of hospitals; 12) Office; 13) etc. c) other industrial areas: 1) packaging material; 2) Biotechnology (yeast, proteins, enzymes, etc.); 3) pharmaceuticals; 4) cosmetics and toilet articles; 5) textiles; 6) space industry and computer industry; 7) etc. This document is not applicable if the product is used using an automatic process for air -transmitted disinfection; See in such cases EN 17272. When using this document, the bactericidal and levurocides and/or fungicide effects of the undiluted product are possible. Since three concentrations are checked from active to the non -active area, the product is diluted, which is why the product forms homogeneous stable stable preparation with water standardized hardness. In EN 14885, the relationship between the individual exams among themselves and the recommendations for application is set in detail.
