Automotive fuels - Automotive ethanol (E85) fuel - Requirements and test methods

This document specifies requirements and test methods for traded and delivered Ethanolkraftstoff (E85). It is applicable to Ethanolkraftstoff (E85) for use in vehicles with gasoline engines that are equipped for the use of this fuel (E85). Ethanolkraftstoff (E85) is a mixture of nominally 85% (V/V) ethanol and includes unleaded petrol, but also the possibility of various "seasonal classes", which contain more than 50% (V/V) ethanol.
