Welded, brazed and soldered joints - Symbolic representation on drawings (ISO 2553:1992) (Austrian Standard)

For the symbolic representation of welds, soldering and brazing joints in drawings, the necessary rules are specified. Graphical symbols, position of the symboles on drawings, dimensioning of welds and possible complementary indications are given. These rules serve as simplification of drawings. To facilitate the application and to improve the understanding, examples for application for the graphical representation are given within the meaning of a catalog. The examples contain the use of elementary symbols, the combination of elementary symbols, the combination of elementary and supplementary symbols as well as examples of exceptional case.
