Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Sheet, strip and plate - Part 4: Tolerances on shape and dimensions for cold-rolled products
This part of en485 defines the limit dimensions and shape tolerances for cold-rolled strips, sheets and plates of aluminium and aluminium kneading alloys intended for general use. It applies to products of a thickness greater than 0.20 mm to 50 mm. It does not apply to pre-rolled strips, not to special products such as embossed or roll-formed strips and sheets, and not to products used in special applications such as aerospace, beverage cans, etc. These are dealt with in separate European standards. The corresponding technical terms of delivery are defined in EN 485-1.
