Roofing and cladding products from metal sheet - Specification for self-supporting products of steel, aluminium or stainless steel sheet - Part 1: Steel

This part of EN 508 specifies requirements for self-supporting roofing products, roof cladding products, exterior wall cladding products, façade panel, cassette profile and overlapping roof tile products made of sheet steel with metallic coating, with or without additional organic coating. Metal sheets for use in conjunction with thermal insulation and membranes are also treated. This document specifies the general characteristics, definitions, classifications and labelling of the products, as well as the requirements for the materials from which the products can be manufactured.
