Continuous handling equipment and systems - Safety requirements for equipment for mechanical handling of unit loads

This document deals with the requirements for construction, transport, installation, commissioning, operation, setting, maintenance and cleaning of machines to minimize the hazards listed in Appendix F. These hazards can arise during operation and maintenance of steady promoters and systems if these are carried out in accordance with the specifications specified by the manufacturer or its authorized representative. This document is not to be applied for steadily conveyors and systems that are used underground or in the public sector, as well as for aviation flooring devices. For public areas, this document only deals with luggage distribution cartridges and check-in sponsors for airports. This document is not applicable to steadily conveyors and systems that were made before the publication date of this document.
