Plastics piping systems for water supply and for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure - Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) - Part 4: Valves

This part of ISO 1452 defines the properties of plasticizer-free poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) fittings used in water supply piping systems and for underground and non-earth-laid wastewater pressure pipes. It also defines the test parameters for the test procedures referred to in this part of ISO 1452. Together with ISO 1452-1, ISO 1452-2, ISO 1452-3 and ISO 1452-5, this part of ISO 1452 applies to PVC U fittings with pvc-U components, other plastics and non-plastics intended for the following applications: a) ground-based supply and House connection lines; (b) above-ground transport of water both inside and outside buildings; (c) underground and above-ground drainage and sewage pressure lines.
