Protective gloves - General requirements and test methods (ISO 21420:2020)
This document lays down the general requirements applicable to all protective gloves and the relevant test procedures relating to design principles, glove assembly, harmlessness, comfort and performance, as well as the labelling and information provided by the manufacturer. It can also apply to arm guards and gloves that are permanently integrated in closed containers. This document covers gloves and hand guards such as mittens, pot holders and arm guards. This document does not deal with the protective properties of gloves and is therefore never used alone, but only in combination with the applicable specific standards. A non-exhaustive list of these standards contains the literature references.
