This standard provides a number of conceptual information on limiting electromagnetic interferences (EMI) for architects of buildings as well as designers and erection personnel of electrical installations of buildings. The fundamental consideration is to reduce such interferences. Further requirements are provided in the relevant sections [e.g. GB/T 16895.17 (idt IEC 60364-5-5480)] of the series of national standard "Electrical Installations of Buildings" (corresponding to IEC 60364) or in other national standards (corresponding to IEC 61000-2, future IEC 61000-5, IEC 61024-1 and IEC 61312-1). The requirements in this standard are in accordance with the above standards (see diagram 5).
