ANSI Releases Schedule of Fall Virtual Events for World Standards Week 2021

7/15/2021

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has announced the schedule of events for World Standards Week (WSW) 2021, which will be celebrated virtually on October 25-29. To assure safe, engaging, and successful events for the U.S. standardization community, ANSI is splitting the WSW 2021 events across fall 2021 and spring 2022. WSW is an annual event where members of the standards and conformity assessment community come together in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration.

Please note that the larger, celebratory events originally scheduled for World Standards Week 2021 will take place in-person in spring 2022. These events include the ANSI Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony honoring the 2020-2021 awardees, an issue-focused conference, and the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day with the theme, Standards for Sustainable Development Goals.

The schedule for WSW 2021 virtual events is as follows:

Additionally, in conjunction with WSW, the 2021 U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day, originally scheduled for October 2021, has been rescheduled as an in-person event in spring 2022, due to continuing concerns amid COVID-19. The event is co-chaired each year by ANSI and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) serves as the 2021 administrating organization in celebration of the theme, Standards for Sustainable Development Goals.
