ANSI, NIST, and Intel to Feature in July 16 CSIS Webcast on Public Private Partnerships: The Foundation for America's Approach to Standards-Setting

Join a live webcast on Public Private Partnerships: The Foundation for America's Approach to Standards-setting, featuring S. Joe Bhatia, President and CEO of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in a roundtable discussion with Dr. Walter Copan, Under Secretary of Commerce and Director, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Phil Wennblom, Director of Standards Policy at Intel Corporation. The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and Langone Chair in American Leadership, will host the webcast on July 16, 2020, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET.
John J. Hamre, CSIS president and CEO, and Langone Chair in American Leadership will moderate the event, which will focus on how standards-setting is a "foundation activity" for modern commerce, and underscore how America's approach to standards-development is grounded in the private sector.
The session is the third in a series of CSIS virtual conferences to feature Mr. Bhatia.
