American Ladder Institute Presents Third Annual National Ladder Safety Month

National Ladder Safety Month, now in its third consecutive year, encourages a national dialogue in March on the importance of proper ladder training and safety.
CHICAGO, Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Ladder Institute (ALI), in alignment with its mission to promote safe ladder use, will once again bring heightened awareness to this important topic during the third annual National Ladder Safety Month. Taking place February 24 - March 30, this month-long initiative focuses on sharing educational resources with homeowners and working professionals to prevent ladder-related injuries and accidents throughout the year.
"More than 137 ladder injuries occur every day," said Manny DeSantis, ALI member and President and CEO of Valley Fastener Group, LLC. "Our aim with National Ladder Safety Month is to drastically change this statistic through proper ladder safety training. The awareness month focuses on five key themes:

- March 3 - 9: Ladder Safety Training and Year-Round Partners
- March 10 - 16: Ladder Safety at Work
- March 17 - 23: Ladder Safety at Home
- March 24 - 30: Ladder Inspection and Disposal
