ANSI/RESNA WC-4_2017 S19

ANSI/RESNA WC-4:2017, Section 19: Wheelchairs Used as Seats in Motor Vehicles

Section 19 establishes design and performance requirements, and associated test methods, for wheelchairs related to their use as seats in motor vehicles. This standard employs basic principles of occupant protection and accepted procedures for dynamic testing used in federal motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS).

RESNA American National Standard for Adaptive Sports Equipment - Volume 1: Winter Sports Equipment

This RESNA standard covers the requirements and test methods for the testing of adaptive sports equipment (ASE). Volume 1 pertains to the testing of winter sports equipment. Winter sports equipment is generally tested as a complete system in a standard reference configuration that facilitates comparison of test results among different manufacturers and models. Some of the test methods establish minimum performance criteria for durability and safety reasons.
