Core Deduction Reason Codes
The primary purpose of this Technical Report is to convey the developersÆ intentions for the use of adjustment reason code values in business-to-business transactions. This technical report is available in electronic form as an aid to improve the corporate purchase-to-pay process. It may be used by buyers to assist in selecting appropriate adjustment reason codes to explain deductions, discounts and adjustments taken for a purchase. It may also be used by sellers in reconciling payments received when deductions, discounts and adjustments are applied
