Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP)

This standard describes the USAF Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) which defines the requirements necessary to achieve structural integrity in USAF aircraft while managing cost and schedule risks through a series of disciplined, time-phased tasks. It provides direction toá government personnel and contractors engaged in the development, production, structuralá certification, modification, acquisition, and/or sustainment of USAF aircraft. This standardá applies to the entire structure of an aircraft, as defined in section 3.1, regardless of aircraftá type or procurement strategy, for the entire life cycle of the aircraft.
