Vibrating Conveyor Standards

Standards for vibrating and oscillating conveyors and feeders specify the basic characteristics of conveyors based upon the shape of their trough. Due to their specific dynamic nature, they are used for a wide variety of applications, often including the sorting, orienting, and screening of parts. These standards address the use of vibrating and oscillating conveyors for use as continuous mechanical handling equipment for loose bulk materials.

ISO 1049:1975

Continuous mechanical handling equipment for loose bulk materials - Vibrating conveyors and feeders with rectangular or trapezoidal trough

Specifies the basic characteristics of the above mentioned handling equipment. Applies to vibrating conveyors and feeders with rectangular or trapezoidal and with flat-bottom or dished-bottom trough.

ISO 1807:1975

Continuous mechanical handling equipment for loose bulk materials - Oscillating conveyors and shaking or reciprocating feeders with rectangular or trapezoidal trough

Specifies the basic characteristics of oscillating conveyors and shaking or reciprocating feeders of the above mentioned types. Applies to conveyors or feeders with either rectangular or trapezoidal or flat-bottom or dished-bottom trough.

ISO 1815:1975

Continuous mechanical handling equipment for loose bulk materials - Vibrating feeders and conveyors with tubular trough

Specifies the basic characteristics (geometrical and physical specifications) of the above mentioned types of handling equipment.

ISO 2139:1975

Continuous mechanical handling equipment for loose bulk materials - Oscillating conveyors and shaking or reciprocating feeders with tubular trough

Specifies the basic characteristics (geometrical and physical specifications) of above mentioned handling equipment. Applies to the following types: Tubular trough with closed ends and tubular trough with only one closed end.
