April ANSI Caucus to Address the Role of Standards in Engineering Education and Public Policy

On Friday, April 4, the ANSI Caucus will feature Dr. William E. Kelly P.E., manager of public affairs at the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), who will address the role of standards in engineering education and public policy.

Dr. Kelly is well known to many members of the ANSI Caucus. During his tenure as a professor of civil engineering and Dean of the School of Engineering at the Catholic University of America (CUA), he served several terms on the ANSI Board of Directors and chaired both the Institute’s Committee on Education and its Personnel Certifier Accreditation Committee (PCAC).

The April Caucus event is sponsored by the American Petroleum Institute (API), an ANSI member, accredited standards developer, and accredited U.S. TAG Administrator to several Technical Committees and Subcommittees of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

General networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served promptly at noon. The National Press Club is located at 529 14th Street, NW, 13th Floor (Zenger Room).
