Standard Methods for Volatile-Refrigerant Mass Flow Measurements Using Calorimeters

Originally published in 1989, Standard 49.1 provides recommended practices for measuring the mass flow rate of volatile refrigerants using calorimeters and applies to all refrigerants listed in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 34. This most recent revision of Standard 49.1 includes updated references and citations, procedural revisions, and additional updates that bring the standard into compliance with ASHRAE's mandatory language requirement. Additional minor changes improve usability and readability.
