Laboratory Method of Testing to Determine the Sound Power in a Duct


Determines, by test, the sound power radiated into an anechoically terminated duct on the supply and/or return side of air-handling equipment. Examples of equipment include centrifugal fans, axial-flow fans, mixed-flow fans, air-handling units, unitary equipment, furnaces, dampers, and throttling devices. Dual units of measurement.
