Temperature and Humidity Environment for Dimensional Measurement (B89.6.2 - 1973)

This standard is intended to fill industry's need for standardized methods of: (a) Describing and testing temperature-controlled environments for dimensional measurements, and (b) Assuring itself that temperature control is adequate for the calibration of measuring equipment, as well as the manufacture and acceptance of work pieces. Blocks provided they are properly correlated by the manufacturer and user to this Standard and yield comparable results with respect to conformance within specified limits.
