Nonmetallic Materials, Part 3 - Properties
The goal of this Guideline is to assist the users of ASME NM.3.3 in locating materials in the thermoplastic stress tables, tables of thermoplastic mechanical properties, tables of thermoplastic physical properties, and thermoset data sheets. This Guideline defines the logic used to place materials within these tables. Tables and data sheets whose designators have a prefix of “1-” or “2-” can be found in Subpart 1 or Subpart 2, respectively. Stress tables and mechanical property tables have prefixes of “1-1-,” data sheets have prefixes of “1-2-,” and physical property tables have prefixes of “2-.”The suffix “M”indicates that SIunits (metric) are used.
