Standard Test Method for Simultaneous Thickness and Electrochemical Potential Determination of Individual Layers in Multilayer Nickel Deposit (STEP Test)
This test method closely estimates the thickness of individual layers of a multilayer nickel deposit and the electrochemical potential differences between the individual layers while being anodically stripped at constant current density.1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
